Mary Catherine Combs

Mary Catherine Combs, 98, of Chattanooga went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2018. She was born on June 18, 1920, to the late James and Roberta Taylor Long. Along with her parents she joined her husband, Doyle Combs Sr.; her son, Terry Combs; and grandson, Stacy Combs in heaven. She is survived by her children, Doyle Combs Jr., Ann Modrall, and Gail Combs as well as eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, 2018, in the funeral home chapel with her grandson, Ben Combs officiating. Interment will follow the services at Greenwood Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
