Tony Teeters

CHICKAMAUGA — Tony Allen Teeters, 52, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 20, 2018. He was a lifelong resident of the Chickamauga area and was of the Christian faith. Tony was a former employee of Shaw Ind.- Synthetic Plant for more than 20 years and was a loving son, father, grandfather and brother, who will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Teeters. Tony is survived by his mother, Joyce Ann Teeters; children, Joshua Franklin Teeters and Christopher Allen Teeters; siblings, Casey Ray (Wanda McNabb) Teeters and Christy (Jeremy) Cabe; grandchild, Cooper Reid Teeters; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 23, 2018, in the funeral home chapel, with Bro. Terry Burns officiating. Interment will follow in the Chickamauga City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 to 8 p.m. on Saturday and prior to the service on Sunday. Arrangements by Wilson Funeral Home-J. Avery Bryan Chapel, Chickamauga.
