Jayne Welch

Jayne Spurlock Welch of Soddy Daisy went to rejoin her dear mother, Dorothy Spurlock, and the love of her life, David Risch, Jr. in heaven on Sept. 22. Throughout her life, Jayne was a selfless and dedicated caregiver to all she loved, from her son, Justin, to David, to her ailing mother, to anyone she took into her heart, including the many animals she adopted over the years. She was a source of strength to the rest of her family, leaving behind, in addition to her son, her brothers (James, Donald, and Mark Spurlock); a granddaughter (Jayme Waller); her sister-in-law Bonnie; several nieces and nephews; and many treasured friends and family-including David Sr. and Alvera Risch of Cleveland. She is preceded in death by her brothers David and Robert. Jayne's family will receive friends at 6 p.m. on Friday at Click's Funeral Home in Lenoir City, with a small celebration of life service to follow at 7 p.m. Click Funeral Home, 109 Walnut Street in Lenoir City is in charge of arrangements. clickfuneralhome.com
