Kenneth Taylor

CHICKAMAUGA — Kenneth “Ken” Levaugh Taylor, Sr., 73, passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2019. He was born to the late Erby And Nellie Rowell Taylor in Chickamauga and was of the Baptist Faith. He served his country in the U.S. Navy onboard the USS St. Paul, during the Vietnam War, was a volunteer Fire Fighter for the City of Chickamauga for many years and retired from Crystal Springs after more than 30 yrs. Ken was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and uncle, who will be greatly missed. He was also preceded in death by his grandson, Daulton Blake Taylor and seven sisters. He is survived by his loving wife, of 48 yrs., Linda Taylor; children, Dede (Keith) Oliver, Kenneth Taylor, Jr. and Terri Stoker; grandchildren, Zachary Oliver, Lauren (Kendal) Tripp, Jordan Stoker and Taylor Stoker. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, 2019, in the funeral home chapel. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the service time on Saturday.
