FLINTSTONE — Cynthia Lynn Smith Bowen, 57, went home to be with the Lord Monday, April 15, 2019. She was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga and North Georgia area. Mrs. Bowen was a member of the Calvary Chapel in Chattanooga and was employed with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee. Cindy loved the outdoors, kayaking, camping, her swimming pool and back porch, and shopping for great bargains at antique stores. She also loved shopping for purses and spending time with her family. Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Betty Poole Smith, and a brother, Mike Smith. Survivors are her loving husband of 32 years, Mike Bowen; daughter, Stephanie (Zach) Hurst, of Tampa, Fla.; sons, Ethan (Jordan) Bowen of Fairview; Austin Bowen and Victoria Parks, of Flintstone; brother, Rev. Glenn (Terri) Smith, of Sugar Land, TX; grandchildren, Jocelyn, Scout, Reece and Ella; several Nieces and Nephews. Funeral Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, in the funeral Home Chapel with Rev.
