Lloyd Troxtel

TRENTON — Lloyd Edward Troxtel, 73, passed away Tuesday morning, April 23, 2019. He was retired from Alstrom Power of Chattanooga. He belonged to the Boilermaker Local Union #656 of Chattanooga. He was of the Church of Christ faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hobert and Sarah Brown Troxtel; son, Tony Troxtel. Survivors include his wife Glenda Gass Troxtel, Trenton, Ga.; two daughters, Kim (Steve) Buffington, Trenton, Ga.; Norma (Jackie) Stockman, Trenton, Ga.; brother, A.C. (Thelma) Troxtel, Trenton, Ga.; sister, JoAnn (Larry) Wheeler, Trenton, Ga. four granddaughters; five great-grandsons; Also several nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, April 26, 2019, in the chapel of Ryan Funeral Home with Minister Gary McDade officiating. Interment will be in Brown’s Gap Cemetery. Family will receive friends Thursday, from 3 to 8 p.m. at Ryan Funeral Home and 11 a.m. until time of service on Friday. Expressions of sympathy may be shared at ryanfuneralhome.net.
