Donnie Wooden

ROSSVILLE — Donald “Donnie” Wooden, 81, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 30, 2019. He was a life-long resident of Chattanooga. Donnie was an avid sports fan and enjoyed playing golf. He loved watching his daughter, grandchildren and great-grandchildren participate in sports. He was Parts Manager for many years at Chattanooga Truck Parts. Donnie loved spending time with his family more than anything else. He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Harold Reece Wooden and Mary Ruth Harris Wooden. Survivors include his loving wife of 65 years, Ruby Wooden; daughter, Donna (Barry) Killingsworth; grandson, Justin (Stephanie) Killingsworth; granddaughter, Lauren (Matt) Gibson; great-grandchildren, Emerson Killingsworth, Kinsley Killingsworth and Ealyn Riggs; brother, Harold Reece Wooden; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and sisters and brothers-in-law also survive. The family will receive friends from 12 to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, 2019, at Christ United Methodist Church with a memorial service following at 2 p.m. with Wayne Keylon officiating.
