Ozella Witherow

DAWNVILLE — Ozella Cole Witherow, 82, of the Dawnville Community passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at Hamilton Medical Center. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. Ozella was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Rex G. Witherow. She was the daughter of the late Frank L. And Pearl Presley Cole and was preceded in death by her sisters, Lela Dunn and Ethel England; brothers, Wilburn, Troy, Jim, Earnest, Paul, F.L., Cecil, and Donald Cole. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Diane and Larry Bryant of Dalton and Rhonda and Bryan McDaniel of Flintstone; grandchildren, Amanda and Kevin Riley of Dalton, Mitchell Bryant of Dalton, and Carson McDaniel of Flintstone; great-granddaughter, Ellery Reese Riley, due in January; step mother-in-law, Louise Moore of Chatsworth; brother and sister-in-law, Denton and Pat Cole of Dalton; sisters-in-law, Tina Cole and Carolyn Cole Brackett of Dalton and Brenda and Jerry Raper and Nell Lynn and James Lyles of Chatsworth; brother-in-law, Harold Hillard of Dalton; nieces and nephews. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff of Pleasant Valley Personal Care Home. Services to celebrate Ozella’s life will be held Saturday at 2:00 in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Cochran, Rev. Joel Southerland and Emily England officiating. Pallbearers will be Larry Bryant, Bryan McDaniel, Mitchell Bryant, Carson McDaniel, Kevin Riley and Mike Whaley. Burial will be in Murray Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday from 6 until 8 at the funeral home.
