Marilyn Lampe

Marilyn Katherine Lampe, 86, of Hixson, Tenn., passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2019. She was a member of Hixson Presbyterian and a loyal member of Hixson Lions Club. Marilyn was a prize winning rug hooker. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother; great-grandmother and aunt that will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Katherine Sherbow and sister, Barbara Hesketh. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Norman Lampe; son, Robert (Marilyn) Lampe; grandchildren, Neil (Jessica) Lampe and Siobhan Lampe; great-grandchildren, Ayden Lampe and Sloane Lampe; sister-in-law, Anita Heaton; several nieces, nephews and cousins. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 7625 Hamilton Park Dr # 6, Chattanooga, TN 37421 or to Hixson Lions Club, P.O. Box 202, Hixson, TN 37343. A visitation will be held at Hixson Presbyterian Church, 1450 Jackson Mill Dr, Hixson, TN 37343 on Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2019, from 2 to 3 p.m. with a memorial service following immediately after at 3 p.m. Arrangements are held by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, TN 37343.
