Charles Bean

ROSSVILLE — Charles Everett Bean, also known as “Bo” to his family and close friends, 73, of Rossville, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2019. He was a lifelong resident of Rossville and attended Philadelphia Baptist Church. Charles retired from US Pipe and Foundry in 2004 after more than 37 yrs. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother, who will be greatly missed. Charles was preceded in death by his parents Velda P. Harris & Charlie M. Harris; and sister, Velda Ann Britton. He is survived by his loving wife, of 47 yrs., Lois Hale Bean; children, Amanda M. (Bill) Barclay and Charles Nathan (Diana Peardon) Bean; sisters, Marlyn (Johnny) Pike and Susie (Mickey Brock) Phillips; grandchildren, Kenzie and Becca; and several nieces & nephews. The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2019, in the funeral home chapel, with Pastor Rob Borders officiating. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South. The family will receive friends from 12 noon to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, and prior to the service on Wednesday. Arrangements by W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home-Ft. Oglethorpe.
