Sherry Boring

Sherry Donna Boring, 64, of McDonald, Tenn., passed away on Feb. 12, 2019, at Memorial Hospital. She was born on March 11, 1954, to the late Mark and Dora Boring. Sherry was a lifelong resident of this area. She was a member of First Baptist Church Cleveland. She loved the Lord and everyone she met, but especially loved spending time with her family. In addition to her mother and father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Dennis Boring; sister-in-law Shirley Boring; brothers-in-law Fred Wilkinson, Bill Wagoner, and Russell Kesley; nephews, Kris Boring, Michael Boring, and Adam Andrews. She leaves behind to cherish her memory five sisters, Elizabeth Wagoner, Charlotte Kesley, Louise Wilkinson, Pamela Kliner (Wes), and Shelia Boring; brothers, Norman Boring (Ruth), Thomas Boring (Rita), Calvin Boring (Doris) and Marcus “Eddie” Boring, David Boring, Wendell Boring (Karen); sister-in-law Margaret Boring. In addition to these, she leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends. A special thanks would like to be given to Sheila Boring who gave tremendous care for the past two years and Tameka and Janice at Pace for their care. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday Feb. 15, 2019, at Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown RD NW, Cleveland, TN 37311. A celebration of life service will follow the visitation at 7 p.m. A graveside service will take place at 3 p.m. on Saturday Feb. 16, 2019, at Happy Valley Baptist Church Cemetery in Blount County. A brief visitation will take place from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. at Happy Valley Baptist Church on Saturday.
