Barbara Ann Williams

Ms. Barbara Ann McClendon Williams born Jan. 27, 1949, in Chattanooga, Tenn., and passed away on Jan. 8, 2019, in Detroit, Mich. Barbara Ann Williams was a 1967 graduate of Howard High School, in Chattanooga, Tenn. Upon graduation, Barbara moved to Detrioit, Mich., to further her career working at Chrysler Auto plant. Barbara was supported by God-fearing parents, Theodore and Ada Whaley, from the Shepherd Community on Fisk Ave in Chattanooga. She entered into her eternal rest Jan. 8, 2019. Barbara Ann was preceded in death by her father, Frederick Logan McClendon, Sr.; mother, Thelma Conley Lewis; step-dad, Willie Lewis; and niece, Anjanette Bratton. Ms. Williams leaves to cherish her memory her son, Willie Frank "Butch" Williams, Jr.; sister, Rosalind (Samuel) Jones, of Highland, Calif.; brother, Frederick Logan McClendon, Jr. of Chattanooga, Tenn.; and devoted friends, Geneva Gilbert, of Detroit, Mich, Bonita Campbell, Jerry Richard and Minnie McClendon, of Chattanooga, Tenn., and other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
