Tina Bankston

Tina Gail Bankston, 53, of Hixson, passed away Feb. 15, 2019. Tina was a loving mother, wife and grandmother. She graduated from Red Bank High School Class of 1983. For over twenty years, she has been in the medical field with Memorial Health Care. She will be remembered for her big heart, always doing stuff for others, her little acts of kindness, her great sense of humor and always laughing and smiling. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Floyd Hickman, Jr. Tina is survived by her husband, Benny Bankston; her children, Melissa (Mark) McNabb and Noelie (Michael) Longley; her grandchildren, Katie McNabb, Mark McNabb, Jr., Hunter McNabb, Hayle Longley and Lillian Longley; her parents, Curtis (Sue) Winn and Linda (Johnny) Hays; and two sisters, Paula (Lewis) Dotson and Carrie (Freddie) Parris. Visitation is 2 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 18, 2019, followed by the service at 6:30 p.m. at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with Phil O’Dell officiating.
