Charlie Hedrick

Charles (Charlie) Hedrick, 66, Birchwood passed away Monday, Feb. 18, 2019. A lifelong resident of Chattanooga, Charlie was in Automobile Sales for over 42 years throughout Hamilton County and North Georgia. He was an avid golfer and fisherman and was a TN Vols and Atlanta Braves fan. He was actively involved in Southern Gospel Quartet Music since a very young age and had sung with the Believers, the Celestials and many other groups. Charlie was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Christine Hedrick. He was dearly loved by his entire family and will be greatly missed. Survivors are his daughter, Niki (Tyson) Cooper; son, Chris (Trena) Hedrick; four grandchildren, Blake and Carson Hedrick, Jordan and McCade Cooper; former wife, Althea Lowe, all of Chattanooga; sisters, Wanda (Jim) Longwith, McDonald, Glenda Green, Ooltewah; brothers, Jim (Becky) Hedrick, McDonald and Steve (Nancy) Hedrick, Apison; his loving cat, KitCat; many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, Feb. 21, at 2 p.m. in the chapel with Rev. Ed Emerson and Rev. Bruce Daugherty officiating.
