Cornelia Shoffner Allender White, 97, “Mama Connie” has joined her Savior Jesus Christ in heaven on Saturday, Dec. 29, 2018. She was a faithful member of Grace Presbyterian Church. She loved her family and friends deeply and enjoyed a good canasta card game. She loved quilting too. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Allender and second husband, Monterey White; father, George W. Shoffner; mother, Louverne Edwards; brother, Cleatis Shoffner; sister, Willie White. She is survived by her son, George (Brenda) Allender; daughter, Karen (Ray) Beene; five grandchildren, David Allender E. Ridge, Chris (Tracie) Allender, Jimmy (Lynn) Shelton, Lori (Jonathan) Shoemaker, John Martin all of Jasper; five great-grandchildren, Jake and Jared Allender, Meghan and Mason Shelton, Cayson Dunn.
