Shirley Keller
CLEVELAND — Shirley Mae Presswood Keller, 81, of Cleveland, passed away Friday, Jan. 4, 2019, in a
local healthcare facility. She was born in Polk County but had lived in Cleveland most of her
life. She had worked as a seamstress at American Uniform, and she was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by mother, Donnie Presswood Parker; two husbands, Robert N.
Wilson and Charles “Bud” Keller; son-in-law, Kenneth Clements; grandchild, Keegan Lee
Hefner; sister, Nina Pell; and brother, James Franklin Parker.
She is survived by one son, Darrell Thomas Cooper and wife Karen of McDonald; three
daughters, Cheryl Denise Clements of Benton, Deborah Charlene Hefner and husband Ronnie of Cleveland, and Sonya Elaine Cox and husband Tommy of Cleveland; nine grandchildren, Wesley Clements, Thomas Clements, Jason Clements, Kisha Knight, Michael
Knight, Juddy Knight, Bailey Cox, and Brody Cox; nine great-grandchildren; one special
little girl, Hannah Lawson; two brothers, Mac Park (Julie) of Knoxville, and John Parker (Lisa) of Kodak, Tenn.; one sister-in-law, Billie Parker of Chattanooga; ex-husband, James
Willis Cooper; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
A celebration of his life will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 8, 2019, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Jacqueline Walker speaking. Interment will follow in
Sunset Memorial Gardens with Thomas Clements, Jason Clements, Bailey Cox, Brody Cox,
Juddy Knight, and Michael Knight serving as pallbearers. Wesley Clements will serve as an honorary pallbearer. A white dove release ceremony and the playing of bagpipes will
conclude the service.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 7, 2019, at the funeral home.
