Larisa Cotten

FORT OGLETHORPE — Ms. Larisa Kaye Vanoer Cotten, 58, entered into rest, Sunday Jan. 6, 2019, at her home, with her family by her side. Larisa was born Feb. 19, 1960, in Chattanooga, Tenn., the daughter of the late Bert E. Vanoer and Martha A. Perry. Larisa was a BIG TENNESSEE FAN and loved her orange and white. She enjoyed Krispy Kreme Doughnuts and anything with Vanilla ice cream. Larisa was employed at SunTrust Bank as Vice President of Securities. Larisa is survived by her son, Jonathan Cotten, of Chattanooga, Tenn.; sister, Lori (Wesley) Boatman, of Hogansville, Ga.; brother, Greg Vanoer, of Chattanooga, Tenn.; and dear life long friend, Melissa Collins. Service to celebrate the life of Larisa will be held Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2019, at 11 a.m. from the Brainerd Chapel of Ponders Funeral Homes. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens South, with Greg Vanoer, Jason Boatman, Landon Vanoer, Garrett Vanoer, Richard Vanoer serving as pallbearers.
