Bee Austin

Bee Plumlee Austin, 98, of Red Bank, passed away Jan. 7, 2019. She was a daughter of the late Jim and Nannie Plumlee. Bee was a founding member of Calvary Bible Church, where she taught Sunday School over 50 years. She worked at Lanham’s Bible Bookstore in Hixson and Brainerd for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, E. Wayne Austin; sister, Jimmy (GiGi) Parker; brothers, Hamore Plumlee and Raymond Plumlee; daughter-in-law, Jody Austin. Survivors include her sons: Larry (Teri) Austin, of Sale Creek, Monty (Dottie) Austin, of Bowling Green, Ky., Terry Austin, of Clinton, Tenn.; grandchildren: Taylor Austin, Zack Austin, Monica Austin (Tony), Athena (Joe) Scott, Jennifer Rohrs (Bronson), Allison Dunn (John) and Jaclyn Kirby (Kyle); several great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Visitation will be Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Calvary Bible Church. Funeral Services will be at 1 p.m. at the church. Graveside Services will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
