Keldon Brown

Keldon Levon Brown, 50, formerly of Chattanooga, gained his wings at his home in Cleveland, Tenn., on Jan. 3, 2019. He was pre-deceased by his father, Cleotis Brown; sister, LoNique Spence; maternal grandmother, Teresa Lockhart; uncles, Oscar Lockhart Jr., Sonny, Charlie, and Johnny Brown; paternal grandmother, Nellie Brown. He was educated in the Chattanooga public school system having attended Kirkman High School. He was baptized in his youth at Union Grove Baptist Church and was currently a member of Price Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church of Cleveland. He was known for his laidback personality, smile and great work ethic as an employee of Amazon in Charleston, Tenn. He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother Peggy (Carl) Martin; sisters, Le’Sean Stewart (Knoxville, Tenn.) and Cleasha (Jared) Jenkins (Charleston, N.C.); brothers, Keith Morris (Atlanta, Ga.) and Rodney Brown (Chattanooga); nieces, Qiana Vinson and Je’Vaughn Fleming (Chattanooga); nephews, Tevae Stewart (Knoxville) and Tre-Vieon Spence (Chattanooga); grandfather, Rev. Oscar (Rita) Lockhart, Sr.; aunts and uncles, Forestine (George) Haynes, Sara (Glen) Chambers, Geneva Smith, Edmund (Sue) Lockhart, and Truman (Betty) Brown (Dalton, GA); best friend, Gregory Croom, three real nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends. A Celebration of Life service will be held today at Taylor Funeral Home, Rev. Oscar Lockhart Sr. officiating and Rev. Daryl Arnold as eulogist. Family will receive friends at 3:30 p.m., service beginning at 4 p.m.
