Barbara Jean Adams

Barbara Jean Adams, 80, went to her heavenly home on Thursday, Jan. 10, 2019. She was born in Chattanooga, Tenn., and attended Rossville High School, class of 1955. Jean was a loving mother, grandmother and an accomplished business woman, who along with her husband owned Adams Camper Sales located in Ringgold, Ga., for 35 years. She was of the Baptist faith. Jean enjoyed reading and shopping. She was preceded in death by her husband, James (Jay) C. Adams Jr.; her parents, Barbara Cantrell and Pete Magin; her sister, Joy Cannon; and her brother, Dan Magin. Survivors include son, Bill (Connie) Adams; daughters, Vicki (Arthur) Adams and Amy (Scott) Kay; loved and cherished by four grandchildren, BO, Ricky, Beth and Brittany; six great-grandchildren, Zoie, Ashley, Tripp, Ann Marie, Emma and Luke; her siblings, Tommy, Ken, Debbie and Gary, of Rossville, Ga. Graveside services were held Friday, Jan. 11, 2019, at 11 a.m. at the Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.
