Judy Wright

SPRING CITY — Judy C. Wright, 76 died Monday, July 8, 2019, at her home. A lifetime resident of Spring City, Judy was the daughter of the late Condon and Hazel Bell McDaniel. She was a graduate of Spring City High School and Tennessee Tech University. Judy was a school teacher with the Rhea County Department of Education for 35 years. She was a member of the St. Clair Baptist Church. Judy loved to farm and was hands on with the cattle. She was preceded in death by her first husband John Howard McClendon Jr. Survivors include her husband Earl Wright of Spring City; daughters Connie (Tim) Wright and Deanna (James) Harrison both of Spring City; stepdaughters Mary (Randy) Coley, Susan (Scott) Edwards and Rachel Myers all of Madisonville, Tenn.; sisters Marlene (Jim) Didlake and Barbara Roach both of Spring City; grandchildren Ashley Morton, Hannah Wright, Kristin Coley, Brittany Stamey, Randall Coley, Philip Edwards, Julie Best, Elizabeth Bell and Calvin Myers; and 14 great-grandchildren. Funeral services are Thursday, July 11, 2019, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Didlake and Chris Morton officiating. Interment will be in the Spring City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Vaughn Funeral Home. Vaughn Funeral Home, Spring City is in charge of arrangements.
