Jamie Lynn Oliver

Jamie Lynn Oliver, an angel here on earth, gained her heavenly wings on July 8, 2019. Jamie was born on Jan. 1, 1977. She was 42. Jamie was a joy to everyone who had the opportunity to meet her, with the sweetest smile and brightest eyes. Her family finds comfort in knowing that for the first time she is walking, talking and singing and it is with our savior, Jesus Christ. Jamie was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Mary “Hallie” and Homer Letson; aunt, Linda Gail Letson; Paternal grandparents, Doug and Elouise Oliver. Her surviving family includes her ever dedicated and loving mother, Sheila Letson and stepfather, Justin Gunnoe of Hixson, Tenn.; father, Bruce O. Bailey, Sr.; siblings, Stacey and Jason Smith of Canton, Ga., Bruce and Sammie Bailey, of Hixson, Tenn.; nieces and nephews, Cayley, Logan, Abby, Ruby and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. The family would also like to include the many nurses and caregivers that loved on Jamie as their own family, while providing her with care and comfort while she navigated her journey here on earth. From the bottom of our hearts, to those who truly cared for her, we thank you a million times over. Jamie will be cremated and her ashes spread at the ocean so her earthly body can reach the ocean for the first time. A celebration of her most precious life will be held at Harrison Bay State Park, a place that holds many happy memories for Jamie at a later date.
