Ollie "Tressie" Moore

Ollie “Tressie” Morgan Moore, 83, a resident of Old Fort, passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2019, at local a hospital. She was of Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Moore; parents, Earnest and Mattie Morgan; son, Johnny Ray Moore and siblings, Bessie Sherrill, Mary Ruth Kibble, Katherine Morgan, Annie Baxter, Claude Morgan and Ernest Morgan. She is survived by her children, Connie Shields and Darrell Moore, both of Old Fort; two grandchildren, Jessica Erin Moore and Zachary Ray Moore; three great grandchildren, Ethan Thomas, Ryleigh Jade and Amaya Jewell Moore; two sisters, Betty Jo Pack of Cleveland and Mildred Branam of Ringgold, GA; daughter-in- law, Kimberly Moore and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Reverend David Disney officiating. Interment will follow in Boanerges Cemetery with a white dove release ceremony and the playing of bagpipes concluding the service. The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 4:00 on Tuesday at the funeral home prior to the service.
