Alma Ruth Beaty

RINGGOLD — Alma Ruth Brown Beaty, 86, passed away Monday, June 3, 2019. She had lived in the Chattanooga & North Georgia areas for most of her life and was previously employed with Standard Coosa Thatcher and Southern Industrial Fabrics for many years. She was a loving and devoted sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother that will be truly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. John & Maude Brown; daughter, Linda Jean Beaty and grandson, James Elbert Morrow. Survivors include her daughter, Angela Morrow; son and daughter in law, David and (Holly) Beaty; brothers and sister in law, Lynn Brown and Don and (Glenda) Brown; sisters, Evelyn Carnes, Carolyn Munoz and Kathy Burnette; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren and numerous extended family & friends. Celebration of life services will be held at 4 p.m., Saturday, June 8, 2019, in the Old Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Camp officiating. Burial will be private.
