Daris Anderson

RINGGOLD — Daris J. Anderson, 80, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2019, in a local hospital. Daris was born in Athens, Tenn., and was a lifelong member of the East Athens Baptist Church. Daris loved to cook, shop, and most of all spending time with her family. Daris was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Lillie Bell Guffey; great grandson, Kyler Anderson; one brother, and three sisters. Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Norman Anderson; son, Tim L. (Ann) Anderson; brother-in-law, Dennis (Donna) Anderson; sisters in law, Alma (Jerry) Robb and Janice Martin; two grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Monday, June 17 at 2 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel.
