Charlotte Ann Alford

RINGGOLD — Charlotte Ann Alford, 70, passed away after a lengthy illness, Tuesday, June 18, 2019. She lived in Baltimore, Md., for over 40 years where she worked as a Carpenter Apprentice building bridges. She was also a member of the American Legion and was of the Baptist faith. Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Nina (Manning) Alford; brother, Stephen Alford; nephew, Joshua Dobbins. Survivors include her sister and brother-in-law, Treena and Tim Dobbins; aunt, Margie; nieces, nephews and various cousins. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. June 21, 2019, in chapel of Wilson Funeral Home with Pastor Denny Manning officiating. Private burial will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 20, 2019, at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home Wallis-Stewart Chapel Ringgold, Ga.
