Theresa Sue Lee

Theresa Sue Lee, 70, peacefully passed away at a local hospital on Thursday, Feb. 28, 2019, after a lengthy illness. She was born on July 10, 1948 in Detroit, Mich., came to the Rossville, Ga., and Chattanooga, Tenn., area in her 20’s and settled in working as a professional in silk-screen and embroidery work at multiple factories and warehouses. She was a longtime member of Grace Works Church and loved going to church when she was able. She was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thelma Hall Greenlee Young and James H. Greenlee; brothers, Bruce Pierce and James Greenlee. Survivors include her husband of 34 years, William Lee; daughter, Paula (Frank) Lambert; the light of her life and only grandson, Gage Haley; sisters, Sharon (Jeff) Thordarson, Carol (George) Prater; brother, Rick Greenlee; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 7, 2019, at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 S. Moore Road, with Dr. Bill Owens officiating. The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Chattanooga Memorial Park.
