In Memory of Gail Prugh July 16, 1946 – March 6, 2019 Obituary (BRENDA) GAIL WALTERS PRUGH, 72, passed away on March 6, 2019 at her residence in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Gail was born on July 16, 1946 to John F. and Martha Walters. Gail was a graduate of Brook Hill School and Sullins College and attended Samford University. She had a lifelong love of animals; namely dogs and horses. She was active in showing horses throughout her life and especially cherished her friendships and years of involvement with the Cahaba Pony Club, Cahaba Horse Trials, Patchwork Farm, and Pretty Penny Farm. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, John F. Walters, Jr. She is survived by her children; Mary Beaule (Marc) of Simpsonville, South Carolina, Maggie McCallie (Mike) of Chattanooga, Tennessee, and John Prugh (Beth) of Ewing, New Jersey; her grandchildren; Jack and Connor Beaule, Kate and Meg McCallie, and Amelia and Harper Prugh; her former husband; Jack Prugh of Birmingham, Alabama; and several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Gail’s Life will be held in the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home on Sunday March 10, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. She will be interred in Birmingham, Alabama at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Greater Birmingham Humane Society. Arrangements are under the care of Chattanooga Funeral Home Crematory and Florist East Chapel, 404 South Moore Rd.
