Charline King

CHICKAMAUGA — Charline Myrtle King, 101, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2019, at her home. She was of the Christian Faith. Charline was preceded in death by her parents, Cleve Daniel and Myrtle Henley; husbands, Herner King and Elbert Gaddis, Sr.; one son, Everette Gaddis. Survivors include her children, Elbert Gaddis, Jr. of Chattanooga; Charlotte (Charles) Murray and Lenda (Charles) Krone of Georgia; Marty King and Mitchell King of Georgia; 38 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 S. Moore Road with the Rev. Christopher Tate officiating. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Gardens in Ringgold, Ga. The family will receive friends from 1 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
