David Garza

David Garza (62) was born to Dominga Garza in Robstown (Nueces County), Texas. He passed away in Ringgold, Ga., on March 5, 2019. David had to grow up quickly, assuming adult responsibilities at an early age. He claimed a Native-American heritage and preferred to be called "Lonely Wolf" or just "Wolf" by friends and acquaintances. He traveled the United States working in many different construction jobs from a laborer to a foreman. Comfortable with heights, he was proud of being an iron worker. He served in the U.S. Army. David was also a very loyal friend, kind and very generous with his time and resources. Fiercely independent, David was most comfortable “on the streets”, and did not tolerate those who would harm others weaker than themselves. A member of Covenant Presbyterian Church, David loved the Lord and delighted in reading scripture early in the morning. He looked forward with anticipation to seeing his Lord and Savior in Heaven. A memorial service and interment is scheduled for Chattanooga’s National Cemetery, Monday, April 1, 2 p.m.
