RINGGOLD — Patrick “Pat” Thomas Erwin, 45, of passed away Friday, May 10, 2019. A lifelong resident of the Ringgold, Ga. area, he was a former employee of Southeastern Drapery Manufacturing Inc. where he worked for six years and was of the Baptist faith. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Myrtle Groover. He is survived by his parents, Gary Thomas and Cheryl Lynn Groover Erwin of Ringgold, Ga.; grandparents, John and Margaret Erwin of Chattanooga, Tenn.; two sisters, Christina (Paul) Smith of Hixson, Tenn., and Katie (Wesley) Thompson of Hixson, Tenn.; nieces and nephews, Alley Thomas, Layla Smith, Margo Smith and Benjamin Thompson; several aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will receive friends Monday from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held at a later date.
