Mamie Wilkerson

Mamie Marie Wilkerson, 90, of Chattanooga, Tenn., gained her heavenly wings Wednesday, May 15, 2019. She was a dedicated member of Rose of Sharon Baptist, where also served as a member of the Willing Worker’s Club. Survivors include her loving and devoted children, Tyrone (Denise) Wilkerson and Linda Wilkerson – Hayes; granddaughters, Tracy Wilkerson, Nichol Buchanan, Tyronda Wilkerson, Jeaneanne Parks, Cora Parks, and Regina Parks; great-grandchildren: Tyvieon Wilkerson, Rhian Hinton, Rhya Hinton, and Sheikh Faye III; brothers: Rudy Taylor of Chattanooga, TN, Hosea (Louise) Taylor of Winchester, TN, Willard Taylor (Alana) of Colorodo Springs, CO; sisters: Mable J. Trigg of Winchester, TN, Clara Mae Childress of Cleveland, OH and Betty Kennerly of Atlanta, Ga; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday May 21, 2019, at Rose of Sharon Baptist Church. Funeral will follow at noon with Pastor Charles E. Moore officiating. Interment: Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
