Phyllis Lively

Phyllis Anne McCloud Lively, 71, of Rossville, Georgia passed away Friday May 24, 2019. A lifelong resident of the Rossville, area, she was a member of the First Baptist Church of Chickamauga, was an employee of Covington Theological Seminary where she worked for 5 years, was formerly a teacher with the Walker County School System for 30 + years. She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma and past President of the Walker County Teachers Federal Credit Union. She is preceded in death by her parents, John Beeson and Annie Ruth Potter McCloud and niece, Janet McCloud. She is survived by her husband, David Lively of Rossville, GA., sister, Sheila McCloud of Rossville, GA.; brother, Gerald (Glenda) McCloud of Oxford, GA.; aunt, Doris McCloud of Michigan; two nieces, Teresa (Scott) Sauls and Terran Newman. Visitation will be 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. until funeral time Tuesday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Sean Maxwell officiating. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens-South. Arrangements are by W.L.
