Yohanna Parks

Yohanna Parks, 66, left to be with the Lord September 4, 2019. She was a 1971 graduate of Tyner High school, Tennessee State University and Trevecca Nazarene University. She retired from the Hamilton County Department of Education as an educator at East Brainerd Elementary School. Ms Parks was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Sophia Parks, and brother, Andre Parks. Ms. Parks eaves to cherish her memories her sisters, Renee Merrell and, Felecia Pryor of Newport News, VA, sister-in-law, Linda Parks of Little Rock, AR, other relatives and dear friends. The Delta Sigma Theta Sorority's Omega Omega ceremony will be held at 6:00 pm Thursday, September 12, 2019 in the funeral home chapel and the family will receive friends from 6:30-7:30 pm. The funeral service will be held at 12 noon Friday, September 13th at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. Interment: Lakewood Gardens - East. Arrangements by John P.
