ROSSVILLE Annelle "Ducie" Jackson, 85, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2010.She was a life long resident of the Chattanooga/North Georgia Area. She was a member of Simpson Memorial United Methodist Church and a loving wife, mother and grandmother that will be greatly missed.She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Jackson; parents, James and Vernie Byars; and sisters, Norma Wright and Sarah Morgan.She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Barry Stoker, of Chickamauga; sons and daughters-in-law, Joel and Gay Jackson, of Soddy-Daisy, Mike and Angela Jackson, of Unicoi, Tenn. and Greg and Brenda Jackson, of Soddy-Daisy; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.The funeral service will be 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 2, 2010 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Brian Kurtz and Pastor David Haynes officiating.Interment will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.The family will receive friends after 5 p.m. today, Sept. 1, 2010 and prior to the service Thursday.The family would like to thank Mary & Martha's Assisted Living and At Peace Hospice Care for their love and kindness during this difficult time.Arrangements by W.L.
