
Edith Kolwyck McCamish Minnick, 87, of Chattanooga, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2010, at a local health care center.She was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga and was a member of Bayside Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father, mother, 11 brothers and sisters.She was a retired supervisor at Cutter Laboratory.Surviving relatives; husband, Carl G. Minnick, of Chattanooga; sons, Mickey (Carol) McCamish, of Chattanooga, Dr. DeWayne (Marilyn) McCamish, of Chattanooga; daughters, Elaine (Charlie) Roberson, of Chattanooga, Carla Self and husband, Joe Nadley, of Anna, Texas; son, Barry L. (Dr. Shea) Minnick, of Chattanooga; brother, Eugene (Ruth) Kolwyck, of Chattanooga; sisters, Mrs. Julian (Betty) Johnson, of Chattanooga, Mrs. Kenneth (Bobbie) Hudgins, of Chattanooga; 10 grandchildren; and 11 greatgrandchildren; several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 3, 2010, at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bob Stitts, Pastor Eric Stitts, Assistant Pastor Grady Cooper officiating.The interment will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery.Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.Visit www.heritagefh.com to share words of comfort to the family.In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to Hospice of Chattanooga or Bayside Baptist Church building fund.The family will receive friends 5-9 p.m. today and noon until 1 p.m. Friday at Heritage Funeral Home, 7454 East Brainerd Road.
