Retia Creasman Loftis, 89, of Soddy-Daisy, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, Sept. 2, 2010.A woman of great strength and faith. She was a member of Rechoboth Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by her husbands, Parker A. Creasman and Marion Noel Loftis; children, Wanda, Thomas and Donnie Creasman; parents, Charlie and Lula Fritts; brothers, Leanard and John Eddie Fritts; sisters, Mary Hickman, Ruby Gann.She leaves behind to cherish her memory a daughter, Sharon and son Micky Hancock; grandchildren, Angie (Tim) Hill, Kimberly McCarter, Cindy (David) Brooks, Misty (John David) Smith, Ashley Hancock; great-grandchildren, Trevor Walker, Raigan McCarter; brother, James Fritts.Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Allen Stewart officiating.Interment will follow the service at Presbyterian Cemetery.Family will receive friends from 3-9 p.m. today and after 11 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home.The family wants to give special thanks to Soddy-Daisy Health Care (East Wing) for the great care that they took of my mother.
