Richard Dale Douglas, 52, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away Monday, September 6, 2010 at a local hospital.He was of the Baptist Faith and had been employed as an Engineer with TVA for the past 25 years. He graduated from Tennessee Tech and loved wood working, music, and coaching girls softball. He was preceded in death by his wife; Wanda Berry Douglas; father, Tex Douglas; brother, J. Keith Douglas; nephew, Neil Douglas; sister-in-law, Charlene Berry.He is survived by his daughter, Krista Douglas; mother, Dorothy Douglas; sister, Rita (Tom) Dozier; sister-in-law, Margaret Douglas; brother-in-law, Larry Berry; niece, Joyce Berry; several other nieces and nephews.Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev.
