ROSSVILLE William Kenneth "Bill" Bane, 62 went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, September 7, 2010.He had lived in the North Georgia area for most of his life and was of the Baptist faith. He was previously employed with Hutcheson Medical Center for more than 30 years as an Attendant and also with the Central Supply Department. He will be sadly missed by all that knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Helen Bane.Survivors include his wife of more than 42 years, Glenda Kaye Bane; daughter and son-in-law, Vickie (Lloyd) Chapman of Rossville; step-mother, Susie Bane of Hixson; sister-in-law, Sue (Lionel) Claridy of Rossville; two grandsons, Brandon and Michael Chapman; Aunt Naomi Triplett.Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, September 9, 2010 at Lakewood South Memory Gardens Mausoleum with Rev. Wilton Grimes officiating.There will be no visitation at the funeral home.Arrangements by W. L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home, Fort Oglethorpe, GA.
