Betty Faye James Clark, 80 of Chattanooga, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, September 7, 2010. She had lived in Chattanooga area for most of her life and was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed gardening, planting flowers, making crafts and sewing. She was an exellent cook, loved her family and animals and was known as "Mama" to everyone she met. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Louise Arlene James; son, Willie Clark; three brothers, Grady, Eugene, and Bill James; and one sister, Wanda James.Survivors include her loving husband of more than 60 years, Willie "Buddy" Clark of Chattanooga; daughters and sons-in-law, Darlene (Chuck) Bonham of Rossville, and Carla (Scot) Burnett of Calhoun, Ga; sons and daughters-in-law, Larry (Charlene) Clark of Rossville and David "Butch" (Brenda) Clark of Chattanooga; daughter-in-law Becky Kyle of Chattanooga; nine grandchildren, Melody Essex, Destiny and Savannah Burnett, Larry "Tony" Clark, Josh Clark, Greg Clark, Lisa Hamilton, Rusty Clark and Sandy Kyle; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 11, 2010 in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel with Bro. Chuck Bonham officiating. Burial will be held at 2 p.m. in the Brayton Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 1 p.m. today, all day Friday and prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
