
Edmond J. Yandow, passed away on September 7, 2010. He was 84 years young, born in Monson, Mass. Mr. Yandow was V.P. General Manager of An-Dow Wood Products, Inc. in Methuen, Mass. He went on to work as a carpet stylist and product developer in the carpet industry for the next 16 years. Prior to his retirement, he owned and operated Brainerd Bicycle Center in Chattanooga. Mr. Yandow served during WWII in the US Marine Corps in the Pacific Theater.Mr. Yandow is survived by his wife of 63 years, Rita A. Yandow; son, E. Robert Yandow, Chattanooga; his three daughters, Linda M. (Robert) Wicksell, Elkridge, Md., Rita Ann (Jack) Smith Chattanooga and Carolyn (John) Worthington of Nassau, Bahamas; five grandchildren: Jason Wicksell, Baltimore, Md., Kathryn "Katy" Worthington, Baltimore, Christopher (Kadie) Worthington, Nassau, Bahamas, Matthew Smith and Jackson Smith, Chattanooga.Graveside services will be held 9 a.m. Friday in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
