Robert Daniel Turner "Rabbit" 56 passed away Friday, September 3, 2010 at a local health care facility.He was employed by Parks and Recreation and Hamilton County Board of Education. He also served his country as a Private in the Marine Corps.He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Annie Turner, Sr.; and brother, Jesse Turner, Jr.Survivors include his children, Daniel and Robert Turner, Jr., Chansonette Young, Velencia Hambrick, LaTisha Turner and Jasmine Davis; his companion, Teresa Sanders; grandchildren, Javanese, Travis, Lauren, Kingston and Jayanna; siblings, Mamie, Lewis "Slick", Elizabeth, James, Alfred, Fredrick, Linda Faye and Randell; a host of other relatives and friends.Services will be held at 12 Noon on Friday, September 10, 2010 at Greater Second Baptist Church with Rev. Caudle officiating.Interment: National Cemetery.The body will lie in state after noon today at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Avenue, 622-9995.
