RIVERDALE Charlotte Alma Cordell Marshall, 73, resident of Riverdale Ga. passed away on Friday, April 27, 2012 at a Georgia healthcare facility. She was born in Decatur, Tennessee on October 5, 1938 to the late Smith Cecil and Geneva Falls Cordell.Her life was spent devoted to her children and spending time with her sons. She also loved to sing.In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by one son Timothy Joe Marshall.Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Billy Marshall, two sons, Richard Dewayne Marshall and Jeffrey Todd Marshall all of Riverdale, Ga.; Two brothers, Paul Wesley Cordell and his wife Sara, James Donald Cordell and his wife Virginia; two sisters, Mary Sue Thomas and her husband James, Sharon Williams and her husband Ronnie all, of Chattanooga, Tenn.; She is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held in the parlor of Companion Funeral and Cremation Service, located at 2415 Georgetown Road NW, Cleveland, TN 37311 at 4 p.m. on Monday April 30, the Rev. James Staton will be officiating. Interment will follow at the Neely Cemetery in Birchwood, Tenn. Pallbearers include, Ray Cordell, Larry Cordell, N.C., Cartwright, Lamar Harden, Jamie Hickman and Sam Tuckett.
