Barbara Ann Cook, 70, of Chattanooga, passed away Thursday, July 26, 2012, in a Nashville hospital.She was a 1960 graduate of Howard High School and was a member of Olivet Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie B. and Thelma Cook; sisters, Willie M. Foster and Winnie M. Chapman.Survivors include two sons, Mark A. Moss, of Chattanooga and Marvin D. Cook, of Nashville; brothers, Tommie (Sarah) Cook and David (Margie) Cook; sister, Catherine Cook, all of Chattanooga; dear friends, Lillian Womack and Helen Beck; several nieces; nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.The body will lie-in-state noon-9 p.m. today at Taylor Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m.Funeral service will be at noon Thursday at Olivet Baptist Church with Pastor Kevin L. Adams, Sr. officiating.Burial in Forest Hills Cemetery.
