Kenneth Davis Grubb, 88, of Chattanooga, passed away peacefully to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 31, 2012.He was the son of the late George Dewey Grubb and Grace Lee Powell Grubb.He was preceded in death by his wife (Margaret) of 60 years; and brother, Willard Grubb, of Meigs County, Tenn.Kenneth is survived by his sister Phyllis Castings, Knoxville, Tenn.; his children, Kim (Chuck) Nichols, of Hixson, Becky (Tim) Roussos, of Mason, Ohio, Bill (Eileen) Robertson Jr., of West Chester, Pa.; grandchildren, Cassie Nichols, Kyle Nichols, Cory Nichols, Greg Roussos, Mary-Megan Roussos and Andrew Roussos who will be serving as pallbearers, and Heather Wright, Kristin, Matthew, Tara and Sean Robertson.The family would like to thank Kenneths many friends and family members who have supported him this past year including the residents and staff of Morning Pointe of Chattanooga. We would also like to express our appreciation for Hospice of Chattanooga for their support and care during this time.Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Cupp officiating.Interment will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors.In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Hospice of Chattanooga or American Cancer Society.The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. today at Heritage Funeral Home, 7454 East Brainerd Road.
