DALTON Michael Shane Sampson, 40, passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2012, at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga.He was a member of Highland Church of Christ and was a very given man with a big heart who loved to take care of everybody. He was an avid collector and a great salesman. He was a loving husband, father, son and brother.Shane is survived by his wife, Amy Hamilton Sampson, of the residence; son, Dakota Sampson and daughter, Madi Sampson, both of Dalton; sister, Leigh Price, of Dalton; father, Danny Sampson, of Dalton; mother, Sandi Gilbert, of Dalton; special friends, Allen and Charlene Headrick and special aunt, Barbara Hewitt; other aunts, uncles and nieces and nephews also survive.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with Tyler Gilreath officiating.Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery.The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. today.Words of comfort may be sent to the family at www.lovefuneralhomega.com.Love Funeral Home, 1402 N.
