Rosaria P. Geraci, 101, of Chattanooga, formerly of New Orleans, passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2012, at a local healthcare facility.She was a loving and giving person who loved to cook for both her family and her neighbors.She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph D. Geraci; son, Mimmo Geraci; and grandson, Harold Boihem.Survivors include her son, Sal (Jeanie) Geraci, of Chattanooga; daughters, Teresa M. Geraci, of Chattanooga and Lydia (H.L.) Boihem, of La Playa Vista, Calif., Giovanna Graham, of Tustin, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday Aug. 4, 2012, at St. Stephens Catholic Church, 7111 Lee Highway, Chattanooga, TN 37421, with Father Gilbert Diaz officiating.The family will receive friends from 9-11 a.m. at the church with a reception immediately following the service.Visit www.heritagefh.com to share words of comfort to the family.Interment will follow at 11 a.m. at Lake Lawn Park and Mausoleum, New Orleans, La., on Saturday, Aug. 11, 2012.In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Chattanooga, 4411 Oakwood Blvd., Chattanooga.Local arrangements are by Heritage Funeral Home and Crematory, 7454 East Brainerd Road.
