DALTON Judy Laubscher McClurg, 70, passed away Saturday, Aug. 4, 2012 at her home in Dalton after a long battle with cancer. Judy was born on Dec. 8, 1941 in Chattanooga, Tenn., to the late Edith and William Laubscher. She was a devoted sales consultant for Mary Kay Cosmetics for 30 years. Judy was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Dalton and a strong supporter of the Dalton Catamounts. She enjoyed traveling with her family and playing bridge with her friends. Judy is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Charles Ronald McClurg, of Dalton; daughters and sons-in-law, Missy McClurg Hair and Dale, of Dalton, Rhonda McClurg Gray and Douglas, of Knoxville, Tenn; son and daughter-in-law, Chuck McClurg and Jody, of Dalton; grandchildren, Dallas Hair, Chase Hair, Dee Gray, Anna Gray, Charlie McClurg and Parker McClurg. She is also survived by her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Mickey McClurg and Carolyn, of Alcoa, Tenn., and Sam McClurg and Marsheine, of Louisville, Tenn.; uncle and aunt, Cecil and Betty Ann Byers, of Knoxville, Tenn.; niece, Sonyna McClurg Yates and nephew, Mike McClurg. Funeral services will be held Monday Aug. 6, at 2 p.m. at Dalton First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. Robin Lindsey officiating.
