Lucille Ervin Burnette, 84, of Chattanooga, died Friday, Aug. 3, 2012 in a local hospital.She was one of the original Bell South telephone operators. Lucy always had a sweet,and kindhearted spirit about her and was loved by all. She was an amazing mother and grandmother that always put her family first. She was a member of Tyner Church of Christ.She was preceded in death by her parents, Warner and Katie Brown; husband, Earl Burnette; son, Michael Henry Case.She is survived by her son, Jeffrey Brian (Elizabeth) Ervin, Atlanta, Ga.; daughter, Kelley Ervin (Jim) Storey, Chattanooga, Tenn.; brother, Herbert Brown, Fort Walton, Fla.; grandchildren, Jeffery Brian Ervin, Jr., Elizabeth Barrrett Ervin, and Katherine Paige Storey.Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday Aug. 7 at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother Harold McClure officiating.
