ROSSVILLE Mildred Brown, 94, passed away Saturday, Aug. 4, 2012. She was born to the late George Washington and Delia Wycoff Moore, in Belk, Ala. before moving to the North Georgia Area in 1950, and was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church, Rossville. Mildred was a huge part of her familys life and will be remembered as the greatest grandmother anyone could have.Mildred was also preceded in death by her husband, James R. Brown; daughter, Annette Pendley; sister, Evelyn Wilson; brothers, Chester Moore, Fred Moore, Reuben Moore, and Floyd Moore.She is survived by her daughter, Marguerite (Charles) Price, of Rossville; sister, Joyce Taylor; brother, Everett Moore; 4 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great grandchildren; 1 great-great-great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7 in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Ronnie Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens-South. The family will receive friends after 4 p.m. today, after 4 p.m. on Monday and prior to the service on Tuesday.
